We had a wonderful meeting last night with nearly 40 people attending.

The night started with a very enthusiastic and encouraging Sheronne Brackenbury from Engage VR being our guest speaker. Sheronne was talking about her role as a speech therapist and how she can help people with PD with both speech and swallowing issues. I have attached a copy of the Engage VR  brochures that were made available to us.I would like to say a big thank you to Sherrone for such a wonderful presentation.

We had a few members give an update which was great and then it was Trent’s time to tell us his story. Trent did so well and it was great to hear his positive perspective. It was also good to hear Trent explain how exercise and friends in the PD community help too. I could see people nodding their heads, knowing they could relate to Trent’s story.

I love hearing other people’s stories. I can relate to so many elements of their story and I don’t feel on my own. We would love for everyone to have a chance to tell their story. If this is something you would be happy to do, please let Glenn or myself know.
